Awesome challenger commercial!
I must admit, this is a sexy car, the more i see it the more i like it. however im still partial to the camaro b/c it will be lighter, faster and cheaper. but this thing does look good. when will they start advertising the Camaro with SICK commercials like this?

Pretty sweet car. IMO the more cars that hit the streets the more competition there is, thus making it more exciting. Still waiting for the Camaro though.

I'm sure they will advertise it a little bit, but I think it will be enough advertisement when people start seeing them on the road. I don't think very many people will see a Camaro fly past them and think to themselves, "How gay."

You wanna know the most ingenious marketing ever for a car? Dodge Neon. "Hi" That was it for a while. Then you started seeing them and wondering what the hell it was all about. It was brilliant, IMHO. The Challenger clip above tells me nothing about the car, but I get the feeling the folks most interested in the Challenger are just going to be a target audience of "retro or bust"...there's not going to be anything exciting to the car itself, as fas as I can see. A huge tank of a car with a mildly powerful V8 in it. It's going to be a tank with horrible economy, and it's going to be expensive. But it looks AWESOME, and not many people will argue that point. So the advertisement above simply exploits it's 70's torque-boat-monster image in modern form, which seems to be target for it anyway. Just my $0.02! |

I don't know i didn't see much to impress me in that clip... No tight cornering or anything just burning rubber and a few jumps... it must not handle well or something...

I think the car is beautiful. I'd own one if I had the extra cash laying around.
