I have an "a$$hole" neighbor that yells "slow down" and has run out in front of me a few times when I pass his house going 5 mph slower than the speed limit. He's real close to a beating.

Now that I think about it I should slow to 5 mph and dump the clutch at 5,000 RPM in second gear.

is the 25 a residential street ? 25 seems fast in front of my house, so 30 seems even faster. Yes, the car may sound faster then it's going but if it's a residential area why not slow down to 20 and call it good? Be unfortunate when your loud car isn't heard by a kid playing baseball in the front yard with his friends and runs out in the street.... just sayin ... maybe thats why you are getting yelled at. I got it when i had my 86 IROC and i too was going 25-30ish down the streets, then i had kids and see why the neighbors yelled.

I get yelled at on my way to work all the time when I'm on the bike. It's 20 mph zone and that's what I'm doing but still get yelled at to slow down. I get it in the truck to a lot. It's just because you sound like you're going fast

I have had 5 Camaros, and this happens ALL THE TIME but only in the two yellow ones.

I got a similar complaint when I first got my SS with NPP. Some idiot sent a letter complaining about me speeding in my neighborhood to the HOA. I called shenanigans and told them to pound salt. I'm the guy who yells at the rich bitch in her Benz doing 40mph down the street but all you hear is a hiss. I personally make a serious effort to not speed. I do hold gears though... lol I told them wait till the headers get thrown on then it'll be loud...
