I guess that's one way to view it. never saw it that way. I mean now, i'll be buying a glorified xbox360. just like sony buyers will be playing a glorified ps3.

and rape is a harsh word. amazon showed xbox one outselling ps4, before they changed their drm. so it was probably closer than the media/fanboys made it out to be.

I don't think it's that cut and dry. I've actually read a lot of arguments by industry critics in favor of the old policies and they do make sense once you think about it. For example: http://gizmodo.com/the-xbox-one-just...ault-514411905

I think the main problem is Microsoft's trying to generate a massive change in the way people buy games, and ironically enough, the video game community is a VERY conservative community. While everyone wants the latest and greatest thing, they really don't want major changes.

Personally I'm happy they removed some of those policies because I know they wouldn't make sense for a lot of people (including me at times), but I don't think it was Microsoft being completely evil.

It depends. They're really stressing downloading rather than picking up a disc so it's definitely possible.

Honestly I think I'd much rather have it on a disc. Plus I plan on ordering the Day One Edition.

Same. I don't really mind downloading games I won't really care about (IE Halo 3 in July) but I'd rather have a physical disc for other games.

yeah, haven't played in 2 years. and I've never played forza. lol

You'll really like it. Forza 4 was a great game. I'm pretty sure Turn 10 just made Horizon to buy them more time to work on Forza 5.
