No the gt500 will beat it in a drag race but the cars are built for a different purpose. Either way both cars are awesome and the platforms are there for crazy mods. Although I'm sure this car will run 11's (11.6-11.9) stock it probably would come down to a drivers race with the advantage going to the gt500. If guys can get it down to low 11's stock then yeah it would be a better buy assuming you don't need a back seat.

Amazing how people argue Mustangs\Camaros against Corvettes.

as mentioned, theyre just two totally different classes of vehicle.

Too bad Ford never made a 2 seater Mustang with excessive gobs of power (ala 662/631) with a 3,000 pou d curb weight.

im looking forward to seeing a c7 in person.

Edit: I just read the order manual, and it looks like they will do a Blue Ext/ Red Int!! I'm psyched!

You can get Laguna Blue Tintcoat with the Adrenaline Red interior color.
