The suspects tail lights were still in view as he sped off, so the fence opening had to have been close IF there actually was an opening to begin with. The suspect found the opening using less lights than the officer had. But... could be a rookie....

actually (and this is for tag as well), the car actually ran into the fence, but it seperated at the bottom and popped out from the poles. and when the cop turned it had settled back down but if you look close towards the end, the fence is slightly pushed away from the pole on the right.

and eisenhower... one thing that cops keep in mind is the condition of their cars during a pursuit. thats why they dont do a pit maneuver right off the bat during pursuits. cus some times, the guy just gives up and pulls over, no need to mess up a patrol car when you dont need to

Spike and Ike,

I don't know how the car got through the fence. It could very well have just gone through it leaving the fence partially intact but making it look closed.

I just went on what I saw and thought of a possibility.

And sorry for my rant. I just hate the, "I hate cops" mentality. We put our lives on the line EVERYDAY...for EVERYONE......and some people just don't give a d@mn.

TAG UR IT's right. While the police might be an annoyance for those of us who drive faster than the limit, we are just as annoying to them because they could be doing something more constructive than pulling over showoffs. There are real crimes out there, and they're busy with the Chevy on the side of the road. Cops are protecting our rights, both overtly and covertly, just by being on the road watching because potential carjackers don't pursue crime due to a fear of arrest or that, when they do such crimes, they get arrested. Badge-wearers are good people because they make sacrifices for the rest of us. I, too, am very annoyed by getting pulled over, especially when I'm only going as fast as the minivan next to me, but they have to pull someone over and it just makes sense to pull over the faster car. Don't dis every cop because you don't like getting punished for your power. To some extent or another, it's your own damned fault.

There, TAG UR IT—now we're both ranting. I really appreciate what you guys do. You deserve better than this.
