saw one in person the other day. Looks like a Honda Crossover, looking so tall & all, rather get an older Impala, or a Buick, if I was getting a sedan.

Ditto on that; anything would have been better than that formless, egg-blob. I was in the Detroit area for a few days recently and saw a few of the new ones on the road and they look nice but still not excitingly nice. Obviously just my opinion though.

IMHO, the new Impala is best, most rounded non specialty car in the Chevy lineup and for the first time in a VERY long time I am truly impressed with the thought, precision, and excellence that went into a GM product. THe more I see of it, the more I realize that it is a no compromise entry into it's segment.
Or...you could look at it like this:

Toyota Avalon: 6 points One first place finish
Kia Cadenza: 7 Points One first place and one last place finish
Impala: 10 points Two second place points

Impala is the first place winner by 3 points

Ok...anything to make a Chevy the overall winner (same points system as NASCAR)

I don't see any Camaro in the new Impala. I do see a much better looking car than the previous version though. It could add alot more appeal if it was RWD and had a V8 option

I see a lot of the refreshed camaro in the front of the impala but not the current model camaro. The grill and headlights are what do it for me.
