Unless you're stuck on crappy VZW (like me), which hates their customers and does not offer good phones ever. September I'm giving them the finger and saying hello to T-Mobile. Faster speeds, great coverage in my area, WAY cheaper, and GSM phone selection. Win-win-win-win.
Really? i know Vzw isnt the best around here either but T-mobile is still garbage compared to vzw here as well..

Not to jump on the Apple hate train but im seriously dissapointed in my Apple products.... When i spend 1600$ on a D@mn Mac Pro computer (3 year warranty included) then a year later takes a shit on me, dies for no reason. Geek squad accuses me of spilling water on it LOL

Solution: Gives me New computer, Yes im Thankful for that, but im screwed if anything happens to this computer now.

Never buying an iphone or Mac computer again Lesson learned

Honestly my answer is based on the market when i was shopping for a computer and a half years ago. Recently I haven't had enough time to look at many of the new things individually.

And I'm not sure if I could buy another HTC phone. I had one for a while (The Inspire/Desire HD) and it was garbage most of the time until I rooted my OS. The only thing I will give HTC is they have a much nicer build quality than Samsung or any other Android maker currently on the market. I switched to iPhone so that all my files would sync without any effort on my part (yes I know its possible with Android just takes a little bit of effort and not much anymore). I would never think of changing to T-mobile though because they are absolutely horrible in my area. If you want coverage in my area it's either AT&T or Verizon which I have AT&T.

What ROM are you running? That's my area of expertise I can help you out. Goes for anybody on Android.

And at the time, I wasn't allowed to have my phone with me at work, the front desk had cubby holes to put your phone, so I turned it on and off at least once a day, at the end of the day, I would turn it on, and none of my apps would show up. so I would have to shut it down and restart it. sometimes I could clear the RAM, and they would show up, and sometimes that wouldn't work either. This started happening a few weeks after I had the phone.

When I would text someone, all of a sudden, it would stop texting. I would have to close that text session, open a text to someone else, start typing, erase it, go back to the original person i'm texting, and it would work again.

after about a year of owning the phone, the battery would drain down to about 53% and then shut off. I would turn the phone back on, and the battery life would show in the 20% range, then shut off again, and then I wouldn't be able to turn it on at all. basically, it was a wireless phone that had to be wired 24/7.

sure, the screen was beautiful. that's about it.
Oh...well sorry for your experience....I haven't had those issues to be honest. I had a battery drain issue, but that was b/c a Samsung update caused the wifi to keep searching even when the phone should have been in deep sleep and it would kill the battery. That has since been corrected.

I'm not a heavy user at all, but even on my old battery I consistently get a day and a half of battery life out of mine.

As just a few minutes ago, ATT sent a text saying the new Android "Jelly Bean" update is finally available for the phone...I've been waiting and waiting for it! lol. Very happy. Now I'll have no real reason to upgrade assuming the update doesn't stink lol.

Upon the release of the GS2 it was easily the most powerful phone on the market (still no slouch at 1.2GHz dual processor with a gig of ram) but the screen isn't quite as sharp as today's standards. Still good enough for me.

Anyways, not saying you shouldn't of had a bad experience...obviously you did. But the phone is definitely not crap in my opinion....not that anyone cares lol. Moving on.

yeah, I know there are droids out there that work great, and i'm sure that if I did get another droid, I probably won't have the same issues. but I like the ease of the iphone. it does everything I need it to do. I don't need to customize it in any way. I jailbroke my phone, but after a while, the novelty wore off, and put it back to stock form. I could always jailbreak again, but i'm kind of past that.

Probably why my fiance likes it. Dreams, you and I may just be best friends lol.

The HTC One is supposed to come out this summer for big Red. I almost switched over to T-mobile but I like the coverage of Verizon and my family's been with them so long we get a loyalty discount. Hopefully, it carries over when I go on my own plan with my fiance.

I'm waiting on the moto x phone myself.

If I switch my three lines to Tmo, I'll be getting unlimited everything and save $80/month. As it is on VZW, we share minutes but have unlimited text and data.

Plus T-Mobile is expanding their network like crazy in the next few years. They will be the go to network in the US within five years.

Verizon got complacent and they're on old tech. Having a CDMA phone is like having a FireWire port on your computer.

Question for you guys, what security ap/program do you use for android? I'm currently using Lookout, but it seems to use my battery.

Completely unnecessary. Android is Linux. Safest OS there is. Don't let those companies scare you- they're just trying to make a buck.

Almost as bad as people who still run app killers on Android. It's been built in since ICS, completely unnecessary and just drains battery.

I develop, mod, and theme for Android (well, not so much actively anymore) in my spare time. So yes, if you need anything Android related, I'm your guy.

Oh, and I could even ADD a 256GB SSD to my 1TB and still come out $800 ahead.

Show me the PC that costs the same as a Mac with the same specs. Just more propaganda by the Mac faithful.
Dude if I paid you could you build me a PC? Like I'd paypal you parts + labor and you build it and ship it?

Btw just got the call regarding the SS, approved! Just gotta get my stock suspension back on friday. If all goes smoothly I'll be in the ss saturday afternoon.
