Definitely, the ZL1 bumper looks so good on Synergy Green. Not only that but there's so few of them out there. Plus it's OEM so you know it'll be a good fit

I was contemplating painting the stock grille a gloss black like the "black" concept
But if I buy a new bumper, I'm 99% I'll be going with a heritage grille

That's my other massive problem. I just can't seem to justify spending so much for a stinking bumper. I know it's the best bumper out there but 1500 for a bumper seems a little insane to me

I know they make other color plasti-dip, I wonder if there is a gloss black color....if so I would try to get my hands on that and mess around with diff looks and see how you like it.

Yea that is a problem I have with a lot of mods haha the price doesn't seem to justify its roll in the car lol.

Same here haha. My final suspension pieces are less than the bumper and those are supposed to be a "night and day" difference. Might go with those instead.

garry sells the modified bumper. by modified i mean the hood lines will look flush with your stock hoods. the OEM ZL1 bumper has the ZL1 cowl lines that continue on the oem bumper. garry fixes that

TBH, you seem to be that performance guy more than the cosmetic guy. maybe you should do your performance first before dropping to much on the appeal of the car ? sleeper status ?

im probably going to install the shorty headers first before continuing the journey of modding it.

the reason im getting everyones opinion first is mainly for the fact that the aggressor v2 is a once in a lifetime thing. i dont think rideskinz will pop more out after this batch.

im gonna post some photo shop work later today and you guys let me know what you think.

take a gander at the second bumper in the pic i posted earlier. that is a modified ZL1 bumper SoCal thug had done. its OEM ZL1 95% but the ports have the horizontal line and the mesh grill in place of the bulbs. what do you guys think ? i think it might look really nice on SGM.

Screw what others think. As long as you don't go around badging your car a ZL1 now it doesn't matter. But I totally agree with you there are some a-holes that will be like that but it is your car do what you like.

I'm happy with my 6er and could careless what others say. I'm just buying what looks best for the car.

I was a performance guy just because I always knew I'd be spending quite a bit on cosmetic to get it the way I wanted. Plus I got hooked on drag racing after going with a few friends when it was still stock so I went performance. But I'm pretty much done with all the power mods. Suspension is next but I really only need the pedder's stuff and I'm done with that too because I'd have pedders z sways, pedders subframe bushings, pedders radius rod bushings, pfadt trailing arms, pfadt tie rods, and pedder's lowering springs. Might get megan racing coils later down the road.

For cosmetics, I really only want my car to look mean. Don't want to go over the top with it... problem is that the zl1 bumper looks good to me at times and at others it doesn't.

I saw the pic. If you're going for that look, definitely do the rideskinz instead.

I have to agree. Who cares what others think. And to be honest, out in the "real world", 99% of people won't even be able to tell. They'll just think it's a really nice looking car not that you have zl1 parts or SS parts. So do what makes you happy. Who cares what anyone on here thinks

Idk haha, I am going to call the place on Monday and then weight it whenever it gets back from getting the door fixed. I have been keeping track sorta. If the weight on the title is accurate and what I removed is accurate it weighs right now around 3626lbs...now not sure if that is with a full tank or not.
