well, i got rid of my first one to get the v8. had to get rid of the v8 because i couldn't afford it anymore. got a pay cut and more bills when i moved.
It's as stock as possible haha. It passes inspection and emissions with the headers/cats so i'm not worried there.

44,000 is what I put in KBB.

after looking at NADA.com, looks like rough trade in is 22.5k, fair is 23.9k, and clean is 25.1k. retail at 28.2k.

that said, these seem to hold their value more than that. i think asking for 26k is good. and you should stay firm on that. dealer can easily sell for 29-30k and make money off your car.

Yeah, I figured the lowest I could go is 25k. I'll get a lot more than I owe on the car... Downpayment / taxes / tags on the new vehicle.

make sure you DO NOT tell them how much you still owe on the car.

Yeah I didn't want him to, but he already had his mindset on treading in the car. He actually did it while I was at work. I just had to go to the dealership to sign the paperwork for the Sonic. I put a lot of trust in Jason hoping it wouldn't stick me with another car.
