In a straight line, the ZR1 will win. with reasonable estimates for 0-60, 0-100, and 1/4 mile it still out on top, the conservative ones make it almost even, optimistic ones say it will crush the S7. Around a curcuit? very good question. The ZR1 has better brakes and suspension than the Z06, and of course much more power but more nose weight. The S7 is designed to be a racer, so it will probably have the edge in handling. It will be close though. Close enough to blame it on driver's ability.

What amazed me that it said that the S7 can create enough down force to drive upside down, in theory anyway I think it can do it, I still think the S7 can burn the Zr1.........it will be close though, Zr1 is not to play with

Frankly...at 400,000 dollars difference? A couple seconds difference in performance times are really NOT going to matter (if they even exist ). I'll pick up a ZR-1 thank you very much.

I certainly realize that there are faster, better handling cars out there than the ZR-1. But for GM to make a car that does what it does at less than half the price of other cars barely able to keep up with it, simply astonishes me. That alone makes the ZR-1 the best car in my book.

oops, I thought you were talking about the base S7. The twin turbo should crush the ZR1.

Corvette Z06 - 75,000$ awesome car great performance levels...

Corvette ZR1 - 100,000$ estimated guess, Rediculously badda$$ car considering price...

do i even need to explain what would happen if GM made a 500,000$ CORVETTE, NO WORDS WOULD BE ABLE TO DESCRIBE IT.......

no anger intended, but the corvette in my mind, at its price, is an incredible car. even if i was rich, i would still buy the vette over a saleen S7. plus the pics of the interior of the S7 that i have seen don't impress me much either...

It's really difficult to beat that dollar per horsepower ratio, not to mention the handling matches supercars. The ZR1 is amazing given the price of its opponents.

Yes you could. It'd be called: Camaro.
Camaro = $70 per hp.
ZR-1 = $161 per hp.

I'm just ribbin' you! I know what you meant.

I was not talking about price Zr1 beats hands down, I'm talking about Engine performance, handling speed, looks, etc so far I like them both especially the Zr1 but I will take the s7 hands down, but if I was rich they both will be in my driveway

lol What if the twin-turbo S7 shows up on the Nurburgring track demanding a race, think GM will allow it
