The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

Who cares? It's a Euro brand and they love their over bearing government regulating their lives. The problem is we Americans are heading down their same path.

V8 is definitely not and shouldn't be thought of as a dinosaur.

With advancements in tech, and smarter, more efficient transmissions the V8 can get decent mileage and still have that V8 power.

I think we are approaching some of the last years of V8 powered cars. Future CAFE regulations will slowly make the V8 extinct.....except for specialty cars like the Corvette, Viper (V10, I know), trucks, etc. There are very few cars today that run a V8. Most of them are American car companies.

What I find amusing about the EPA and their European counterparts is we are forced to clean up our acts through regulation and price jacking while third world countries pollute on a scale more than we ever did in history. Yet cars are shipped to these countries without the controls and requirements they are here because they lack mechanic support for them.
