It's a fun time waster. Went to see it at the drive in and thought that the last 3 installments were a lot more entertaining. A few giggles and some "holy crap, awesome car!!" comments while watching. I've spent money on worse movies that were supposed to be better. Besides, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel AND The Rock??? Sign me up. I can mute it and still enjoy...

You guys don't know what you are I talking about, I haven't seen it yet, but here is my assessment...

I was reading the wikipedia page on it and didn't care if I accidentally stumbled on to some plot points because, after seeing the previews, and having seen all the other movies, we all basically know what the story is in advance. But I'm going to see hot chicks and hot cars and Vin Diesel and The Rock kick ass for an hour and a half, and I bet the film does not disappoint.

Not to mention Gina Carano. That chick kicks butt. MMA Muay Thai fighter who's not hard to look at and has great combat scenes.

If Mr. Diesel knows anything about cars, he already knows they do. I sure he likes the money, but he knows they suck.

I thought it was great, like all the rest of the movies. They've evolved a lot along the way.

Either way, can't wait to see 7!

I made the mistake of watching the first one. It was so bad that I never considered watching any of the rest of them.

They take junk old cars, fix them up so they're good enough for scenes and camera angles.

I saw a show where they took a Challenger from F&F and fixed it up. It was in BAD shape. The movie folks destroyed the original bucket seats to put a "5 point harness" through.

Anyone upset with them taking perfectly good classics and crashing them shouldn't worry. All of them cars in those movies were on their last leg 10+ years ago.

I admit I did giggle a little when the Mustang got slowly crunched like it was in a paper shredder and reduced to a paperweight. Some goofy crap in that movie but it wasn't shocking because it was expected at this point.

blkngldbabe summed it up- it was a great time waster. Wife wanted to go to the movies yesterday. I wanted to see the star trek movie, she wanted to see Fast 6. Either one was science fiction, so....

Oh yes it can.

I'm a big fan of everything mentioned above but the plot, storyline, and overdone special effects can make a movie horrible. Don't believe me? If you want to see examples of that movie making formula, check out the walmart bin.

At least its one of the rare movies out there where everything isn't CGI. They actually use real cars for at least one scene.
