There were a couple up near Williamsport, PA when I was going to school up there, now that I think about it.

Firstly, Ff6 was awesome!
Secondly, according to the trivia on screen during intermission there used to be over 4000 drive ins in America. Now there are less than 400 :-/

I recently heard they closed the last one in WA - it was up by Colville. They were the thing when I was a kid, those were the days.

Thanks for starting this thread. Personally, I've never been to a drive in movie. Saw your thread, and got to looking into options in my area. There are 3.

TwinCities in Bristol, TN,
Moonlite in Abington, VA, and
StateLine in Elizabethton, TN.

Wife & I are looking forward to a drive in date night next weekend.

Things I learned when taking the Camaro to the drive in...

1. If you park too close you can not see the top half of the screen due to the roof line.

2. If you drive a stick, put it in gear and take the parking brake off to avoid "BRAKE" glaring back at you from the dash during the movie.

3. Take some notebook paper to cover up the infotainment screen. It glares at you as well.

4. Most importantly, do NOT drop a piece of popcorn! (I was very careful not to do this)

7-8 years ago there were some in the SE Massachusetts/Rhode Island area

One of them was an ex-Adult drive in. The sign's shape looks funny unless you know it used to be a XXX drive-in, and then, the sign makes sense.

There is one just outside the Wisconsin Dells. I've only been to it once many years ago.

Port Orchard and Oak Harbor still have theirs open.

We got "the big Mo" here in nearby Monetta, SC. Multi-screen drive in. Quite neat experience actually. Reminds me of the old days...if you're ever in the western part of SC, it's a nice slice of throwback.

We have one in Sacramento. The road going in is really bad and the parking lot is crummy. I would never take the camaro but we do go every now and then with the Audi Q7 and watch a flick. Usually in the winter when the sun goes down early. Have a power inverter and bring my Bose wave radio into the movie. Sound is awesome in the car and I don't have to idle the car the whole time.

Concord, California has one...called Solano Drive-In.
I went to a bunch of them as a kid in my parents '63 Impala SS 'vert. It was popular to play spotlight tag on the screen before the movie started. Back then, many cars had spotlights.
It was cool to hide your friends in the trunk as you entered a drivein with a per-person charge.

Finally made it to the drive-in tonite, for Fast 6.

State Line Drive-in in Elizabethton, TN. $6.

Projection room, surprised it's still film.
