i don't know what's dumber. 1 mil for Eleanor, or the 150K i've seen spent at auctions for clones of it.

Well that movie car is 1 of 1, and to collectors it's obviously worth it. The GT500E replicas that were licensed by Shelby but built by Unique out of Texas were the only ones going for that kind of money, and there was less then 25 of those made. My buddy has one and he's been trying to sell it for a while now, but he can't get what he wants out of it, and he doesn't want to take it to Barrett Jackson since they don't allow reserves for anything under $500,000. I think they are beautiful cars, and they are definitely well made, and they come with 800+hp engines, but for $150,000+, I would really have to be running out of other cars to buy to pick one up.
