Child's Ride-On toy Camaro questions

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong category. It's kind of a car, right?

So the wife and I have been planning to get one of these for my son for his 3rd birthday for quite awhile. He's a total car nut and Camaro was about his 5th word he learned. I have looked on Amazon, Toy R Us website, and Chevy Mall. Most of these say they are made by National Products. They all look identical. I saw some on Toy R Us website that are yellow and a little less $. They say made by a different company. Aviga or "By Toys R Us" or something like that.

Does anyone know? Are they all the same? Are the pricing differences just due to color and supply/demand?

Does anyone have any experiences good or bad? I've seen pictures of quite a few kids and dads on here with these. Some of you please help a brother out.

I've found a few scathing reviews on Amazon. Are these the exception or someone with unrealistic expectations or is the Camaro ride-on really crap? I did also see a fair number of good reviews.

I need to make a decision by tomorrow so please jump in!

Thanks

I think they are the same just different sellers.
Our son has had his for over a year and still going strong .
Now looking in to 18v conversion to "make my car fast like your car daddy"
3 years old is a good age for him/this car .

Ordered! Toys R Us had a sale online for 15% off one item and free shipping on any item over $79. I got the $399 45th anniversary model for $339 and they ate $83 shipping! My boy is gonna flip.

Today is my big man's 3rd birthday!

We will be doing the big reveal tonight. I will try to post it to youtube on video in the next couple days. Thanks for all that helped give the idea to light it up and to those of you that gave me advice on the actual wiring and construction!

Hope you got the 8 volt one instead of the 6 volt one, or the other kids will bash him on the forums.

Enjoy them while they are young. Remember, little kids= little problems, big kids=big problems.

Sweet Mini-45th! He looks happy !! Reminds me of 21 years ago when I bought my then-6yr-old his battery powered army jeep.... Great memories being made there that you'll both remember a life time.
