CLOSE CALL!!!

Coming back home from seeing my mom, I take cross country road to skip traffic... Going up hill there's a crossroad ahead, on my right a girl in a Honda is looking at me, when I'm like 3 cars distance she take off cutting in front!!! I was like 60mph hit the brake, turn right and quick downshift and sprung so the car behind me doesn't hit me! I didn't get nervous until I get home and realize what just happen... I almost lost in 1 second what I'm been working my ass for 2 years!!! Any of you experience this close calls?

I have experienced this but not in my Camaro. The other when I was in my DD I was waiting for a car in front of me to do a left turn on a 2 lane highway since there was no turn lane for the car in front to get in. While I was waiting I look in my rear view mirror and see a Honda Pilot coming behind me and not hitting the breaks at a good 50 MPH. I put the car in first and waited for the person in front to go and as soon as I had my window I flew off in First and almost got hit but luckily they started the hit the breaks and tried to steer into the grass (That was not going to help at all). If that car would have taken just a few seconds longer to make the turn I would have gotten hit pretty hard.

Also have had it when a driver took a red light while I was making the left turn at an intersection. I hadn't gone into second and hit the gas I would have gotten T-boned. Florida has some pretty bad drivers on it's roads.

Didn't experience any close calls but today some old guy backed into my door leaving two lovely dents in my driver side door.

sorry about that K! I know it sucks big time see that happen after so much work to make your ride look good!!! He's paying the damage?

I did, GMC Jimmy pulls to the breakdown lane wiggling left and right, so I go left to go around him and he immediately dive toward my car.
I did all I could to Dive to the far left passing lane to avoid him and he just grazed my right rear bumper. (not in Camaro).
He then take off through the center median grass, taking a U turn, so I couldn't chase him.
