Fastest 4 cylinder you would drive
lol if it wasnt for v8's I would drive the cailber srt4, got to love that look, small though but 280bhp is not bad for a 4 cylinder, what would you drive if you had to resort to 4 cylinder,

4-cylinders only? No 6-shooters? I'd go back to my beloved MKIV Supra again in a hot minute.

The fasted 4 cylinder for me would be the Ariel Atom with the supercharged ecotec. 300 hp, 1005 lbs. 0-60 in 2.8 sec. Its one hell of a gokart.

I'm with DGthe3, the Atom is incredible. Although, very impractical for rainy areas. I may look at the Lotus Elise/Exige, but we do get snow here, so that would probably be bad. All of these are pricey too.
I think I would go with the Audi A3...loaded up nicely it's still under $30K. Enough room to haul a couple friends or some cargo, good gas mileage, good looks, decent performance.....I've never driven one, but supposedly it is a fantastic vehicle, and you can't go wrong with an Audi interior. It may not be the fastest 4-banger, but it's the one I would go for. |

If i was FORCED back into a 4 banger, I would go get another Ford Escort ZX2, they where light and responded well to mods (hell turboed ones were wicked). BUT ill never be forced into a 4 banger.
