Test Drove 2014 Impala LTZ - GM's Future is here!

Sunday my wife and I test drove a 2014 Impala LTZ at the dealership my daughter works at. I have to tell you that I was very impressed with this car. The LTZ comes fully loaded with an over load of amenities. The 305 HP 3.6 V6 is smoother than the 3.6 they put in the Camaros and a lot smoother than the 3.6 in my wife’s 11’ Malibu LTZ. Some LS/LT's will have the 2.4 4 cyclinder. But this seems like an awful alot of car for a 4 banger. I would love to a V8 SS in the future. Please see pics below.

Halo's are nice touch!!!

No V8 or LF3. That's what the SS sedan is for.

Yep...but having an Impala, with its heavy tradition with no SS seems so wrong...

It's built off the Cadillac XTS's platform, which will have AWD and an LF3 for the 2014 model year. It's practically begging for an SS model but...guess not.

My dealer had one when I was buying my Camaro, I was very impressed and if I was in the market for a family car it would be tops on my list. Very nice job by chevy.

I think the car is very revolutionary...doesnt look anything like a crossover...have to disagree there...

The exterior is very appealing......but good lord......did they hire a blind person to design the interior?.........the steering wheel alone.....

Easily one of the best interiors Chevrolet has produced in recent history.
