a life change after 20yrs

20yrs ago I was a Sr in high school, & if I was lucky I came in at 100lbs. Pregnat with my first child (who I lost memoral day weekend, I was 3months along when I lost her) after that I struggled with my weight, after I got married & having two more children (one is 19yrs old & one is 14yrs old)

being close to 300lbs Last June when I went in for sinus surgery & they nearly lost me in Sept when I had to have galbladder surgery. The drs warned me that I had to lose the weight.

Well after the Gal bladder surgery I struggled to eat what I use to eat, lots of pizza, cheese & alot of fat. My body cant take it anylonger, I cant eat icecream, alot of pizza or anything with alot of fat in it or I get sick. I started to get smart & watching what I eat.

then back in the end of March of this year, my sister in law showed me a horse she has that needed a rider who could give him the attention he needs , But the problem was he is blind so I had to relearn to ride & be his eyes

Yeppers thats me & Jake

So thanks to Jake I am starting my life over again & I am currently down to 262 (i have lost 10lbs since I started riding him) & hoping to be down to 200 by the end of the year.

I am showing Jake this weekend & my sister in law said I had to be down to 265 in order to show him this first show.

Oh another reason for me to lose weight

My 14yr old daughter & her horse

Excellent news, Tammy. You found a reason to work it off! Good luck showing your horse, he's beautiful!
My friend Dani had gall bladder surgery too. She's taken a lot of weight off as well, and learned how to eat healthier. I've taken the hint and started eatiing healthier and joined a gym - lost more than 10 lbs so far, it's a long road but feels good knowing I'm on it and not just wishing the weight would go away.
Keep up the good work!
