Okay, tack on another $900 for sunroof, maybe $400-$900 if there's a premium paint option. Regardless, even if it's only one or two options, there's still a starting price.

Considering my 2009 G8 GT's sticker price was right around 33k I would say your dealer is pretty far off.

Obviously this is just a guess but GM authority says...."estimated to cost $45,000 USD"

I hadn't heard that, although it's not as if there'd be a certification cost attached (unlike the case of the SS sedan not having the LT1).

Bingo. Anyone by chance know the MSRP for a G8 GXP? That'd be another example of a good, close ballpark estimate (once you tack on 8.5% for inflation of course).

If I remember correctly it was 38 or 39 base price.

Some member on here said that GM announced the manual at an auto show for the 2015 MY. Not sure about the accuracy of that, so I'll ask Fen.

Remember though that the G8 was not a premium car in terms of availability or its optional equipment. It's going to be the price of a fully equipped G8 plus a few thousand.

Yeahhh $30s is probably a pipe dream.

This is, by all intents and purposes, an Impala SS (since GM won't give me an AWD Impala with the LF3). Expect pricing to start in the $40s and the be prepared to wait a few weeks.

Well, keep in mind that it'll be spec'd out like a loaded G8 GXP, as I said above, adjust for inflation, and well, there you are.

I haven't heard anything. Pretty sure every Commodore model comes with a manual in Australia though so it wouldn't be too hard to implement besides validation for the US market.

I don't understand the hate; I like the styling. It needs a manual though.
