actually I'd suggest you at least take a look at ubuntu (linux) it has some of the 3d bubble look of vista but the whole system is really quite nice and easy to learn if you have ever used windows xp or vista... not to mention it's free

Yeah well I did use linux, for the last past year and a half. I only made a switch to mac just recently (for my laptop at least my old one ran Kubuntu on it). My desktop has Kubuntu on it but, the whole ati driver mess has completely ruined my feel for Linux. But I'm actually happy right now with Mac OS X right now. I don't think i'll run boot camp on it but when ever I get my desktop I'll put xp on it.
