HELP AGAIN....

ok so ... i need some help... the crossfire motor went today in my 80 vette

which blows... BUT now i need a NEW motor... my dad says 350 only im trying to go for 383 stroker... which 350 would you put in...which 383 stroker would you put in... im buying the engine from gmpp this summer....

new rides coming... fully restored 69 chevelle for my 572...
and a 74 firebird 400

How does a ZZ383 look to you? Here's a HT383, too. Also, I found you a 350 with iron heads.

whats ur spending limit?
as far as a 383, i cant stand any 383 with less than 400hp/tq. its downright insulting to people when they build/buy a motor and are only getting 350 hp. then again, im one of those guys who believes that your power #'s should be larger than your cubic inches. id throw an LT1 in that beast and convert it to coil packs. but thats just me.

im trying to spend less than 8000 but a 383 with about 400 hp sounds about right... iwould like a 385 or 350 with 400 or 385 hp

... the firebird is my best friends we work on it together ... the 350z and charger and trucks are mine... i sell trees and landscape, and im a student... i get some government cash,,, and i own a few condos
the viper is my brothers and the corvette is now mine and the chevelle is coming soon

i really dont car how much i spend... i just HATEEEEEE HATE HATE rubuilding trannys and uasually over 450 hp i just end up puting in a turbo 400 which is a 3 speed :\ ..

i dont want over 350 hp cuz then i can use a new 6 speed... i think im going with the 350 HO with 330 hp and 380 trq... it sounds good and i dont like the 383 i hear too many bad stories... and on top of which...i can use my camaro for everyday

i need to do a new rearend and tranny in the corvette too... as well as brake lines breaks... pretty much everything... im also re painting it and spot welding the frame to stiffen it up... i just want a corvette cruiser with enough balls for 13's... and a camaro bruiser.... if i dont go 350 small block ill put in a 454 big block and make 500 hp but too much work
