Because in Noway could they provide warrants to search and seize every house in Boston in such a short period of time. The New England states have turned over on their backs to the tyranny of the king. Disgusting to know the one place our liberties were fought for over 200 yes ago were completely trampled on in the same place. Try that crap in a non lib state and promise that outcome woulda been a lot different.

They can only pursue a suspect into a property if they physically see him entering the property.

Blindly entering every structure in a 2 mile radius is not covered.

Section 213 definitely would have allowed all of these sneak and peeks, but I believe that section was overturned in 2006...

Edit: That's incorrect. However, as I understand it, the provision does not apply if someone is physically present.

This. Even if they were working with a larger organization, it would be difficult to launch a campaign against it unless it was in control of a country a la Taliban/Afghanistan.

Figure out the motive, take precautions against a similar event in the future, put a bullet in the kid's head and call it a day.

I didn't see anyone being dragged out with a gun to their head, I've seen LE on the ground with weapons pointed up as they walked out. Think its funny how everyone was gung ho to get these guys but afterwards all the internent tough guys and liberals start screaming about their rights and "What they would have done if it was them!"...

you would complied just like everyone else or you would have been "prowned out" in your yard with a boot on your back. Even if its wrong and you truely think you would have fought it hopefully common sense dictates you don't take on an overwhelming force face to face...

My view: If a police officer knocks on my door right now and tells me he wants in for no reason or justification, yeah I think I'd be a little wary and demand a warrant.

If a police officer knocks on my door saying he needs to search for a suspect after a freaking shootout just took place down the block leaving one suspect dead, another officer wounded, and the other suspect is running around my neighborhood, all after three people were killed and many more hurt in a terrorist attack perpetrated by these individuals, hell yes please come in and if you find him in here do be sure to take care of the problem.
