Red Rear Panel (Modding my 45th Anniversary) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all,

Long time lurker here and wanted to get some opinions.

I want to do my 1st mod (excluding tint of course)

I was considering the following:

Heritage Grill
Red Retro SS (remove the bow ties)
Both of the 1st two
Bow tie overlay (Red)
painting the rear panel red.

For the last one I will explain. I was also wondering if anybody has done this. I noticed a lot of people have done the blackout rear panel and was looking at getting a red one to match the 45th stripes. Anybody out there have anything other than black?

Just pictured it in my head. That should look pretty good on a 45th.

I think mainly the rear trunk panel is sold in black as you said. I can think of 2 options to get it done in red.

1 - Contact a custom graphics shop, and they should easily be able to get one cut for you in any color they have available. Personally i'm a huge fan of BigWorm. Excellent customer service and always quick to reply to e mails or take your phone call, and he'll let you know if they can make it happen.
2 - order a vinyl sheet (ebay), do a couple measurements and it should be a simple DIY.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think I may go Vinyl. I looked into plastidip but the red will not match closely with the red on the stripe.

Anybody else have any recommendations?

I saw a 45th with a red trunk panel and it looked awesome. I suggest contacting one of the vinyl companies on here and seeing what they could do.
