What a game by the one and only Pavel Datsyuk. PPG and the GWG in overtime. We really needed that one after blowing in Phoenix last night. ANd our rookie D Man Danny Dekeyser played well in his debut. One last thing, this was the last meeting for the Wings and Avs as conference rivals. Go Red Wings!!!

What's with all the shutout's? After every lockout scoring goes up but eventually the goalies start locking the nets down and engage in their criminal ways of thievery and mischief!

I'm calling it right now...the team with the hot goalie wins the Cup!

that's what brought the Bruins theirs two years ago. You could have put a brick wall in front of the net and it would have let in more pucks then Tim Thomas did that year....

Yup Thomas was very impressive that year and you guys are contenders once again. There are so many great teams right now but the sleepers are making me nervous.

To be honest as solid as my Hawks look Detroit, Minnesota, and Columbus could be back breakers in the playoffs. We've seen it too many times over the years and teams in the East could heat up to. The Rangers and Devils will be scary if they begin to click! They are flirting with that 8th playoff spot.

Detroit is my team, but they better finish out the season strong or they may not even make the playoffs!

At this point I really just hope we make the playoffs. And if we don't advance, at least give the team hell that puts us away. Go Wings!

That hit was filthy! There is no reason for Volchenkov to raise his elbow like that and he had plenty of time to lower his arm and deliver the goods nice and clean. His disciplinary hearing was this morning so I'm curious to see what the league will do.

4 game suspension for volchenkov.
Bruins losing in the third against the isle with the north east lead on the line...
this team just can't deal with this years schedule.
