well i screwed up and mentioned i had childhood asthma when i was little but it hasn't affected me in anyway during sports or exercise and that slowed things down, but i went to meps last week and the new doctor cleared me on that and agrees i don't have a problem anymore. but for some reason when they took my blood pressure it was a lil elevated so i have to go back and have them recheck it and finish up and draw up my contract. that and also bad vision that i need to get a waiver for as well


but yeah i should be back up there in a week or so and be good to go

Bp can be up or down for numerous reasons..just relax and watch what you eat a few days before..what branch are you shooting for?

lol you will fit and you will only be a driver but for so long until you get rank..I wouldnt be an MP..I would shoot for Helicopter repairer..more job possibilities when you get out..how did you do on your ASVAB or have you taken it yet..and GOO ARMY!!! Great choice...not saying that only beacuse I was in the Army either..lol

the USAF tried to permanently DQ me for asthma as well. cus I had to use an inhaler when I was 11 (I'm mildly allergic to pollen and that was the first year I helped my dad mow the family cemetary....12 acres of fresh cut grass....).

they had me do a bronchodialator test and (from years of playing sports and tuba in band), I whooped the tests' ass.

the nurse running the test asked why they sent me, at which point I started freaking out, I asked why. she said most people get around an 80-90% on lung capacity and breathing capability.... I managed 130%.
