Its just too heavy to be a track car. To keep up with the Z28 around a track it will need at least 560-600 HP, which makes it an even heavier boat. Itll be too much mass being powered by too much HP to be a good track car.

No, it was a limited 2 year run. It was over before the Z/28 was announced.

They could bring one back, but the problem is why? What percentage of buyers would pay for it? Nice PR, but an expensive thing to make.

Don't discount the Challenger there are several production codes in the system for the platform that haven't been utilized yet.
