How did they get back to Woodbury to Tyreese and get to Andrea without the Governor making it back? I suspend disbelief for the whole idea of a zombie outbreak but that was really unbelievable.

Um maybe because the Gov after killing everyone from his own town left with his 2 remaining cronies didn't go back to Woodbury.

Knowing that Rick and his army now outnumbered them and would be coming to finish the job ( just common sense) he headed for the hills to recruit more psychopaths to join his homicidal army of morons.

That creepy call was from Bob, in Chattanooga. Go figure. Just north of Atlanta, so I could understand one of the undead must've made it to a phone in Chattanooga.

Carl is becoming REAL. I'd have shot that kid too because 1, he was part of the group wanting to kill them, and 2, when Hershel said for the kid to drop the gun he didn't, so he obviously wasn't getting the message. Rather than doubt intentions, Carl simply took out the threat. Good call, Carl.

Andrea's obsession with mediating and discussing everything cost her time- thus her life. Milton warned her, and she wasn't great with getting pliers off the floor with her toes. When a zombie's in a locked room with you and you're tied to a chair, trying to discuss the situation should be the furthest thing from your mind.

Michonne gets it now as far as being part of the group.

Best of all, Beth FINALLY broke her zombie-kill cherry by crowbar-ing a walker through the fence at the prison. So all of the group now (except for little ass-kicker) has "killed" zombies.

Can't wait for October and season 4.

Carl's such a badass now. Everything he said to Rick is true. If you don't kill someone today that person may kill someone you care about tomorrow.

Rick redeemed himself in my eyes. finally opening the group back up and trusting people to rebuild it.
they were getting pretty low on manpower and needed the reinforcements big time.

The group got weaker IMO, not that I would turn away the elderly and young, but the remainder of the Woodberry group will be a drain on limited resources, making Ricks position to defend the prison more precarious.

At this point the Governor literally "fired"[upon] every militia person he had left but his two now wary lead henchmen aren't exactly fully feet-first loyal to him now I wouldn't think. Woodbury has nothing now. And with the Gov's mental state, I highly doubt he could get anyone else to follow him now. He might want to drive on down the road...

Pretty sure the Gov will show up again, but this time I'm thinking he'll get his ass kicked.

Carl is the Governor now. "You kill or you die...or you die and you kill." You'll find a lot of reflection in the show when it comes to behavior and choices and depending who acts it out people will see it as either right or wrong.

What the governor said to Milton is pretty much what Carl said to his dad.

I'd say he's more Shane then the governor. He did pick up a few tricks and tips from him.

Some of Shane is in there yeah, you'll find some if Rick in Carl to. When Tyrese and his group first made it to the prison Carl helped them out, he didn't gun them down so there's plenty of good in the kid. You'll see many similarities and they'll play out according to the theme of that particular episode.

The kill or be killed ideal playing out one way for the Gov. and in another way for Dirty Harry makes season 3 rather appealing. For me it did. We saw different themes play out for Merle and Andrea last week to.
