According to the Police I failed..

Why me? I was at the gym earlier and before driving home I saw a ticket on my windshield and I freak out really I thought I parked on the handicapped parking but I wasn't. It was pretty congested at the parking lot but I was really wondering why only me got this inspection ticket? I also saw couple of BMs, Mercedes, other nice car and Porsche parked next to me has a flag of his country hanging on the windshield but never got a ticket.

I have a hard time believing this. I feel as if a kid made this "citation" and went around to what ever car and left it on the windshield. It looks extremely cheap and unprofessional for a sheriffs dept. Their penmanship is that of a kid. As long as you didn't get a ticket I wouldn't be worried.

I would call the police department to see if they do this. If not let them know about this note. Looks like a person marking cars so that someone later can break in and steal the items!!!!

Thanks, thats why I posted this bec. I don't know if this is legitimate or fake. I always to go gym like everyday on the night time but what really bothers me t is that someone is lurking on my car and give me shit like this. I never saw a cop patrolling on the lot they have security on the bike roaming around time to time. I don't even have a bag inside the car but I have the windshield cover on the backseat floor.

It's not a ticket...they are just trying to help you out and warn you...I highly highly doubt it was an officer but maybe citizens on patrol or the police explorers. They must be having high car break in rates in the area.

I am 100% sure it wasn't some kids...it's legit.

The Sheriff dept does the same thing here, I have got a few of their little notes just to let me know that they are out there "on patrol". But when I have called them in a time of need, I can plan on a 30 minute wait before I see a officer.
As for me, I view the cops as totally useless, they are never around when you need them. But I can plan on getting hit by at least one radar trap going to work and at least one going home each day. They usually set up 2 or 3 so that you think that you are clear to let it rip and then: SURPRISE!!

Thanks for doing the favor dude.

Just a follow up question guys. I have a tint on my windshield all the way 50 % and I know its illegal but I don't want to be toasted on the summer time here in the valley thats why I put tint on them also no front license plate. So anytime the officer can give me a ticket on this while the car is not in motion or just being park somewhere?

Needs to be in motion. They can't give you tickets on private property anyways unless given permission by the owners.
