Hello and Thank you!

Hello all, my name is Jim. Have been looking at your site for awhile now. Thought I'd join. Very impressed with the members of this forum. I don't have a Camaro yet, but plan to this year. My daily is an 03 Av, and my wife drives an 11 Cruze. This is going to be my son's car so a new chevy is in order. Been a Chevy guy my whole life starting with a 73 K5 that was red but by the time I bought it, it was orange. 5 chevy's later, I bought my VR Av with 3 miles. My wife wants my Av so I guess that means I have to get a new car, darn. This may be in the wrong place but I thought I'd ask...for my Camaro purchase, go fast is not a priority and I want to mod my Camaro. I started to look at the 2ss first and went down to a 2ls. Is this a bad idea? Changes will be front, sides, wheels, radio, seats, minor engine, and some under. Parts in mind will be about 8-12k. Sry for the long intro but thanks for being here and will want many opinions and the expertise of you all. tks again, jim

Welcome! I agree if you can make it work, the SS is the way to go. They are much more capable and are better setup for modding. Good luck and if you have any question, feel free to ask!

Best regards,

Jim, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
