Top Gear takes on America! - Page 2

I love Top Gear and yes they do usually rip on American cars, but they're also comparing them (typically) to Aston's, Porsche's, Ferrari's, etc so it isn't exactly a fair fight. They do it more for the humor.

The main complaint was a lack of handling in American cars, but I think the Camaro (and definitely the ZR-1) will show them the error of their ways.

The z06 won car of the year from them over the 599 and Porsche Turbo. Also Tiff on Fifth Gear says the Americans are showing the Brits how to make a car handle.

To be fair there are very few "British" car companies nowadays... and most of them are very low volume specialist companies... it's a sad time for the British motor industry... not that most could afford to run them anyway... what with fuel tax, road tax, insurance tax.... you get the idea.

Has anyone seen the episode where they make regular vehicles into boats and are supposed to sail across the English channel? now that is a frickin funny episode

hey now that i see the title....Is there a web-site where i can see american cars being tested? aside from edmunds/inside line? theres a couple of cars i'd like to see
