People are wimps nowadays. The whole "OMG it's so bad to hit your kids!!!1!" thing pisses me off to no end. My mom smacked me around when I did stupid **** as a kid and I turned out fine. I'm not perpetually traumatized or anything, in fact, I now know that doing stupid things will get me in trouble.

How many times did we wear kneepads and helmets with our bikes? I remember finding a piece of plywood and the safest thing we did was point the rusty nails downward, prop the board on whatever we could find and make a ramp, lay our buddies don and jump over them? Helmets meant we were going to do something real stupid!

Does anyone remember when you had to TRY OUT for a team? Now, you make the team and a buddy of mine that coaches football was told to call the blue team, gold team and white team...WHY? Because kids might get offended being called second string!!

Oh God. I had a kid on my hockey team who was genuinely pissed off when he ended up on third line.

It was even funnier considering how he had just started playing.

We have a basic academy for all the agents when they first get hired..These are guys that will be MY back up when the poop hits the fan right? The physical training was too stressful so they are making the training more correct AND during role play for things such as raids or takedowns... no bad words. Why? someone complained they felt intimidated! We now have our simunition guns(just like the real things, same weight, same look, but shoot soap pellets out of a normal bullet casing at 1/10 speed I think..they hurt like a mother) Anyway, the guns were all painted a bright yellow..not or safety but because someone felt intimidated having a gun pointed at them...during a shoot, no shoot training.... Cant make this up.

you can't use a pellet gun?

It's an actual gun of whatever we are using being the AR or the 40 cal and the bullets we use have a soap tip for realism. The training weapons cant fire regular bullets. They make them for all types of training.
