This is a cool thread, exchanging ideas about our V6's.
Right now I have reached my mod limit for a while.... My tax refund went to my MRT V2 exhaust. I have to wait for my birthday then Christmas for the next round. So until then I will just enjoy going on little top down cruises around the mountains of East Tennessee. Like here.

That's what I hear. I probably need to get an AFR monitor...

I can tell a difference. It changes how your car runs. Luckily, our cars will automaticly reset once you run 93 for a while. The V8 guys have to do a fuse pull to get it to reset. When I got mine it had cheap gas from the dealership. I read on here & immediately got 93 when the tank was nearly empty & once it had a chance to reset I could really tell a difference. I never went back.

If you do not have a tune 93 octane will not make much of a difference. A test was done here (maybe by scrming) back in 2010 or 2011 about the gas and with 93 over 87 it gained from what I remember to be only a couple hp. That's basically within the margin of error from one dyno run to the next.

However if you are like me and are tuned for 93 then it will make more of a difference.

Oh and btw Angrybird that is one sharp looking ride!

Ummmm here are my ideas:
- VIS hood
- street scene lower grille w/ ducts and heritage grille
- supercharger/turbo

not in any order at all. I want some FI ASAP but I cant seem to raise that much money without spending it on something else

If you do the lower grille will you be removing the license plate? If you don't, I think I would either do the FI or VIS hood first since it'd be hard to see the lower grille and ducts with the license plate in the way. I honestly think your car looks pretty much perfect the way it is. The hood would be a great touch though.

I HATE NJ LAWS! Its so ugly and stupid there hahaha

Yea I feel like I dont have the power to back up a hood like that though. the hood is only 1 grand compared to like 6 for the FI option. So I will probably end up goin with the hood next.

I also dont know if the the heritage grille would look any good with the waffle lookin stock lower grille.

What about looking for a good used kit? I know a few people have been selling their kits. Might be able to pick one up for a good price.

If not, who cares. I'd still get the hood. It will look really good and our cars come with a great amount of power anyway.
