Looking for some good slugs for possible deer hunting - anybody know anything about these?

Looking for a sub-sonic (or close to it) 12 gauge rifled slug, 2 3/4 inch. My shotgun is a 20 inch smoothbore with a cylinder choke.

Open for any suggestions as to other rounds as well - I just have good past experiences with Remington rounds.

No - because slugs drop FPS like you guys and your skirts, and I don't want the wobble when it comes back below the sound barrier.

o ok yeah that makes sense and yeah your right i used to go hunting up in Indiana and its shot gun only and one year i got a deer that was about 120 yards out and i had to aim about a foot high just to hit him on my second shot, the first shot i saw hit the ground a couple feet behind him right between his legs lol

P.S. - Recoil isn't too big of an issue for me anyway because my shotgun is at ~ 10-11 pounds empty with the way I weighted the stock to provide better balance.
