I got to see some Kansas Jayhawk basketball this week. Perry Ellis, a freshman, came out of his shell, off the bench, and brought mayhem to every team we played in the Big 12 tournament. Seeing a kid turn into a man made me smile.

watching my 14yr old thinking she was ready to try on a wedding dress & a prom dress, shes not old enough for either but still.
We ended up buying the prom dress. The wedding dress  The prom dress she didnt want to take it off. daddy went to see if it was part of the half off & it was so $150 dress became $75

My almost 3 year old granddaughter was staying the night and we were playing on the bed before bedtime. She was crawling on my back and then she got off and with a serious look on her face and pointing to the top of my head said; why don't you have any hair there? Did someone cut it off?

My 2 sisters and their families along with my wife and 2 children took our mother out to dinner for her 75th birthday. Came back to my house afterwards for cake and coffee and just hung out. There were 4 generations of our family spending a Sunday together.
