I highly doubt there is a plague of transmission problems throughout the Equinox and Terrains. Have you searched online to see if this is a common problem?

Yes. But seriously? 41,000 miles? Absolutely no reason for that.

We haven't even had it 3 years yet.

That's why you have the market's best powertrain warranty coverage. The quality team can't really tell what's happening inside your transmission, so they can't possibly catch the very few problems that come out of the factory.

Very Best? Chrysler offers the same and Hyundai kia give you the same miles and an extra 5 years. just saying

Debears i hope this works out for you and you don't have ongoing issues.

Yes thank god for warranties.

But um....... The best? How is 5/100,000 better than 10/100,000 offered by other companies?

Had a stalling problem with our 11 Nox for awhile. Sounds like issue Q's91z28 mentioned. It was a module. Hasn't had a problem since. I can get the actual diagnosis if that helps your parents. No other issues with the car. Seems a few of all cars have issues. Thankfully you had a warranty to pay for it.

So in the mean time i am driving a 2013 Impala LT as a rental car (paid for via warranty).

It has the 300 horsepower V6 if I'm not mistaken. This thing hauls ass for sure. Its nice and roomy and it feels like cars from the past era.

It reminds me of my 1994 Buick Road master.

That being said the interior is so antiquated. Thank good for the 2014 all new model.

Did you read those other warranties? Compare the content and tell me that they're as good as GM's warranty.
