one-of-a-kind supercar!
 Some dude in Northern Italy built this supercar from scratch in his own garage. It took him 4 years and the motor out of an Audi A8. Article is by Leftlane.

Don't compare it to production cars. Compare it to your own engineering skill. Most of us could not possibly do this on our own. This is freaking phenomenal. I'm guessing the 4 years represents time working on it, ignoring additional planning time. It probably took additional time to prepare to build the car.

Its hard enough for a team of engineering students to build a little race car in a year, and that comes with lots of rules on how to do things. Now, for 1 person to do an entire car? Wow
