7 speed auto would help, still I wouldn't expect anything better than mid 13's.

Must be running some kind of secret rocket fuel then, don't believe it and as I said, still not something for the major ponies to worry about.

That's what I'm talking about brother!

What we need to keep in mind is that it is a V6.

Great, but it doesn't matter, the op was trying to make it sound like it was match for a 5.0, SS, or SRT when it isn't. Even if some magic dust was sprinkeld on it to make it run a 13.0 stock (still highly doubtful), it just isn't.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I guess I missed the big deal, too. A 5.0, Boss 302, Shelby GT500, Camaro SS, Camaro ZL-1 are all faster in stock configuration...the Shelby is a lot faster.

I also own a G37 coupe. That 7 speed auto trans keeps her on the boil all the time. Faster than my SS no, but it will hustle!

I don't doubt the car is very fast for a n/a 6 cylinder, but no way is it as fast as the V8 Mustangs and Camaros. The G37 is also not cheap.

Whether it's Ford or GM....forget slowpars.....these two need to keep the tradition alive as long as possible. The japs are creeping up....

you do realize even to get to the trim level of a 2SS you're already paying about 5K premium on the vehicle that is slower - where is the denial?
