Do You Want To See Lebron James In The Dunk Contest?

Seems ""The Hall of Famer" Magic Johnson says Friday during ESPN's pregame show that he will put up $1 million if James finally enters the marquee event of All-Star Saturday night.

James has always refused to enter the contest, but he's recently been putting on a dunking show before Miami's games, reigniting interest in seeing him take part.

Johnson says: ''Please LeBron, get in the dunk contest. I'm going to put up a million dollars. A million dollars to LeBron. Please get in the dunk contest. I go every year. I want to see you out there. A million to the winner.''
The NBA currently pays $100,000 to the winner and $50,000 to the runner-up.

What is he afraid of losing to a Rookie or something?

I don't give a **** about the NBA and the only way I would watch the dunk contest would be if they had the big names.

This year dunk contest was terrible i watched it on Youtube. Commercial free.

Yeah I just don't think it will bring in any new fans unless you have the few players an outsider like myself have heard of. Get Lebron, melo, durant, etc and I would actually pay a little more attention.

The dunk contest is like boxing..these days. Not many names you can relate to or care to see.

I'm not a fan of Lebron James at all. I was big into basketball in the 90s, but it's all about hockey for me now.

However, as much as I dislike Lebron James - he's probably the only player I can name, except A.I.!
