nah, only reason to put it in a case, would be to prevent it from breaking. and i think the only case that could do that, is the ottorbox...which is horrible looking, and way too bulky.

unless i could find a miami dolphin case

Personally I cannot tell much difference between the 4 and 4s. But knowing you... 4S....

well the phones are identical in the looks department. Differences are processor chip, bluetooth 4.0 for the 4s, 2.1 for the 4(not sure what that means. lol), Siri for 4s, 8mega pixel camera for the 4s and 5mega pixel for the 4, panorama with the 4s, facetime on cellular data with 4s, and talk time is an hour more on the 4s.

I am able to do it and I have 4s.

Those are all true, but what you have to decide is if the features the 4S has over the 4 will be used to substantiate the cost. 16Gb is better and worth it for the most part, but spending $100 versus zero for something you may never use is what I'd be looking at. And the battery life issue has *still* not been fixed. My wife had a 4 then upgraded to the 4S and hated the battery life in it. when she got the 5 it still wasn't great. Our regular 4's had twice the life of either the 4S or 5. (My daughter who got the 4S went back to her 4 becaue of it too) The wife still has the 5 but I may give her my Note when I get the other phone(s). She loves her iPhone but hates that it needs to be charged all the time.
