WOW

Just came back from taking out my car for a small cruise. WOW
From driving 160hp all day every day for a few monthes, driving the Camaro felt amazing. Guess we really take the power for granted, its way more then enough to get moving. Oh well in three weeks when I pull her out of storage ill be here trying to figure out new performance mods LOL

lol exactly! Ill be here complaining first day I pull her out of storage

Honestly, if it wasnt for gas prices, I definitly would get the IPF tune. Seems legit.
Knowing me though, going to focus on all cosmetic mods this summer. Last summer I really got bored of driving because I ride and now that I have a new bike, thats going to be my speed fix and the Camaro will be my all show no go car

Budget for this Summer

Havoc Diffuser $600
ZL1 or Havoc Skirts $600
Havoc Spoiler or RK Spoiler $400

Think thats all

Oh and some orange brembos

You should be able to get a hold of the sideskirts for a little less no?
The orange brembos can be painted by yourself so you can save some cash there.

I wanted to go that route too, I satisfied with where the car is at the moment but I just can't shake my "I want more power" addiction lol. I'll get to cosmetics eventually

ZL1 skirts are like $300 I think but the havocs are $600 for nothing

Yeah im going to G2 them so thats only $50 but the damn brembos themselves for the set is like $600
But alot of v6 guys were lucky to get an even trade with SS guys who drag

And that feeling will never go away, even after you get boost, just ask the guys who are ditching their FI systems and v6s LOL

You could get funny gas. Whats all your mods as of right now?

Aren't the havoc ones the ones only held on by 3M tape and the ones that people were having problems with? If they are, I'd go with the ZL1 ones for sure.

I thought you had brembos already... my bad lol. Yea the brembos are crazy expensive and since I drag race, I'll probably never get them since you can't put small wheels for drag radials in the rear.

I know the feeling will never go away but I do know that I want to keep this one reasonable. I don't want things breaking because I'm pushing it too much. My next car will be a v8 so that will be the car I will push more.

I have Vararam, Ported IM, MACE insulator, Trifecta, and Borla Axle-back... I think that's it lol

F*** really? didnt know people were having problems with them. lol ill go with the ZL1 then. Should match my front end pretty well

Yeah I wish I had brembos, but decided to blow that money on getting the bike I dont plan on running at the strip and want that big brake look

As for your mods, I guess the only things you have left is Long tubes, high flow cats, and I think thats it really, unless you go cams or FI

And if your going v8 eventually, definitly wouldnt dish more money into it. Although a N20 kit would definitly give you the kick you want but I dont think I would do it, seems unfair lol ill get reemed for saying that

I onno about headers though, dont know how I feel about the sound of them

I'm not 100% sure those are it but I think they are. I would do a quick search and see.

Yea, all I have left is long tubes. Only thing keeping me from getting them is the problems some have had with them. I heard a few cars with long tubes in person and they sound really good! The resonated x-pipe makes them sound so good because it removes all the rasp. Just don't know if they're worth it with the price + install.

I'll probably go v8 once the 6th gen comes out. I want to see what those are like and if I don't like them, then I'll go from there. I really want a 2013 shelby bad! In a few years, I might pick one up used if I don't like the 6th gen.

You're better off saving for FI at that point.... Just my opinion.

That's kinda my opinion too. Better gas mileage and more power. Having an NA V6 that can potentially compete against a stock V8 is pretty cool though.

I think it would be really cool too! But the heads would have to be proven to give gains because with full bolt-ons and cams, we are in stock SS territory. Well at least in L99 territory.
