America's not at war...

America's at the mall.

Most people have such a skewed sense of what is important.

Can't say that I was a huge Farrah fan...at least not since I was 10 and she was a hot Angel...but most of us grew up on Jacko.

Very sad :(

AGREED!!!....

R.I.P. Michael Jackson - age 50
Farrah Fawcett - age 62
Ed McMahon - age 86

I grew up watching ALL 3 of them on TV as a kid...a very, very sad day indeed...:(

It should remind everyone that "tomorrow is not promised to anyone" and we should just enjoy every day and love and respect each other...

There is a new song out there by Nickelback that basically talks about "If Today Was Your Last Day", and how to live each day as if it was your last...

I used that theme to make my decision to buy my new Camaro...

I've dealt with that theme this past year as I watched my beloved Dad dying, and then pass away 9/18/08...

Life is so much shorter and passes by so much faster than we can ever imagine...I feel like I was 22 like 5 minutes ago, and now I have sons that are around the age I was when I bought my '76 Firebird...my "dream car"...

:flag1:

BTW, I continue to salute and thank all who are in the military and are serving and protecting our freedom...

I also salute all the firefighters and police officers that are keeping us safe as well...

My Dad was a VOLUNTEER firefighter for our local town for 60 YEARS, before he died last year...

You don't have to look overseas to find death, people die in the streets everyday. Nobody is stopping you from starting a new thread for soldiers if that's what you want.

RIP KING OF POP.

Gosh I'm really surprised to find out that Michael Jackson was indeed dead. You will never know who is going to die tomorrow.

May God finally rest your soul Michael.

After all these years of being the center of attention, whether it be for good things or bad, he can finally be at peace. I send my prayers to Michael Jackson's family.

I will miss MJ. I've grown up with his music, and he's the reason I sing in choirs, and perform as well. I've always looked up to him, and looked passed all the accusations, and lies.

I'm 17 years old, and I've been listening to his older music, and some newer music for most of those years, and they almost always spoke to me in ways no other music could.

Thank you Michael Jackson, for being an inspiration to so many kids like myself, and for helping me become the singer I am today, even though I never once met you. You are the King of Pop in my eyes, and always will be. God bless your soul. Thank you.

OK, I'm done being mushy. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming....

This is actually really big (and as already stated) unexpected!

The King Died in a similar fashion....

I'd put M.J. in the same category with Elvis ......with regards to his influence and internationally recognizable as an American Icon!

RIP MJ.....you touched a lot of lives!

Shame on you people.
