Have not shot it yet so no range report for now but all i've read so far seems to be promising. The last photo below is actually of Dan Coonan himself, the mastermind of the .357 Magnum Automatic Pistol.
BAdass. No doubt about it

I got my C&R and Midway has given me a discount on all items. I will NEVER shot Cheaper again. Midway gets all of my business going forward. I ordered 1000 rounds from Midway of 5.56 and they shipped it within 1 week.

there are a few others who have not price gouged the hell out of everyone. Brownells has been the same as midway and so has Wilson combat, YHM, and several others. Screw cheaper than dirt.

Isn't that kind of countering your argument against open carry?

Look, I'm not planning on walking around "John Wayne" style as someone described it. I just want a buffer between me and the law in case the clothes I'm wearing accidentally show my concealed hangun.

I'm still on the fence on whether you should need to be licensed to carry open. I know in some states you can open carry or conceal carry without a license.

Your not a COP, your not in uniform! There is a difference in deterrent seen in that manner! Look at it this way, Your setting in Starbucks with your better half drinking coffee. You go to the bathroom and come out to see some douchbag robbing the cashier! You both see each other at the same time, he has a weapon drawn and sees you carrying. What do you think he is going to do?

Open carry ALL you like! It does nothing but make you a target for both public and law enforcement discretion. I don't want to answer peoples silly questions in public or be stopped by every other Officer who sees a weapon on your hip.

Personally, I would rather carry concealed rather than draw attention to myself by open carrying. However, if someone does want to exercise their right to open carry then that is their decision and I will respect that decision.

The only negative side towards open carry is the fact that most of the public, and in some cases, even law enforcement don't know what the laws are in regards to open carry and the police in my area have been known to harass those who openly carry even though they are allowed to do so by law.

Seriously, is no one actually reading what my reasoning is for making open carry legal?

Technically speaking we shouldn't need a permit to carry period, regardless of it being concealed or carried openly.

I feel that way too, but then sometimes I reconsider judging by how stupid some people are, and I would prefer that you take and pass a licensing course to prove that you're not completely incompetent...

Does anyone know where I can get a customized Remington 700 long action built for a precision target rifle? I already have a stock in mind and I have heard there are some modifications that can be made to enhance the 700 action's accuracy.
