Hey so I found a set of bbk 304 headers for $500 shipped. Should I jump on that or holdout till July for ceramic ones?

Man, for 500 that's a tough decision. It depends on what you want in the end. I would love to say that I would hold out for ceramics but to be honest, for that price, that's a great deal especially for the stainless

That's what I'm saying! But I'm not in any particular hurry to buy them and I'd rather have the ceramic. Mild steel isn't ideal, sure, but after learning that our stock manifold is made of CAST IRON I'm not so worried about rust! lol And I know 304 steel does rust but it's a much much slower rate.

The big question is...how much of a power/heat difference do the ceramic headers offer over the 304?

No I don't bring up the cast iron for the looks but rather the rust factor. Cast iron has no anti corrosive properties. I'm sure it was chosen because it's A. Cheap, and B. nigh indestructible (thinking of my cast iron pots, lol)

Yeah I think I'll wait, i'm not in a rush like I said.

Not yet! There is a strip like 40 minutes from me but it's in the process of re-opening.
