Good for him. To me, the amendment would just be another slap in the face. They are saying, "You products are evil, but we still want your tax revenue".

I didn't say training would take months, and know that they're a company with means. I'm talking about the combination of finding a place to move, purchasing a factory, purchasing new or transferring old equipment and training workers. Once that's complete they can begin catching up with the hundreds of thousands of existing backorders, and the additional demand from the time they're down. Even with 600+ workers you don't produce those kind of numbers quickly.
The provisions of the bill would have allowed Magpul to stay in CO to manufacture. That statement by Fitzpatrick is a "EFF you" to CO. Magpul said they would not manufacture in a state where they would not be able to sell them. The lawmakers told them they would be allowed to stay under the bill when the judiciary was meeting. That's where this statement came in

“Our company could not, in good conscience, continue to manufacture our products in a state where law-abiding citizens are prohibited from purchasing and owning them.”

It was their protest against the bill, and telling CO that they were about to lose tax money and jobs in the state. I'm thrilled about it personally.

There are 6 companies now that will refuse to sell to any state/federal agencies in states where the citizens' rights are restricted. This is good news for us as well. There is also a link that sends a mass email out to the "big guns" asking them to support the same boycott if anyone would like to use it.

http://www.firearmspolicy.org/take-action/industry/

It works pretty much like the "Ruger makes it easy" email.

Agreed...I love it. Just got this off their Facebook page.

"We're hearing some rumors that the Gov and the Dem caucus think we are bluffing. Just to clarify for them, then...we're not a political company. We dont play political games. We've made our position very clear, very publicly. We would not survive lying to our customer base, nor would we ever consider it. If you pass this, we will leave, and you will own it. We've already got plans in place to get PMAG manufacturing moved rapidly, and the rest of the company will follow. We will make sure to at least have a small remain-behind operation through the 2014 elections so that we can remind folks why we are gone."

These are really nice. Saw one at my local range a few weeks ago...almost picked it up. Decided to wait, since I wouldn't be able to find any extended Glock magazines.

I'm sure that weapon is long gone by now, and I really don't need to spend the cash anyway.

I'm really surprised they have any additional magazines in stock with all the craziness going on. Do you know what they charge for them?

Did anyone see the new Washington State gun control bill? It allows law enforcement to come inside your house once a year and perform a search to verify that you are in compliance with the new bill.

You would think something like that would be all over our news.... Have a link or something?

EDIT: just read about it. I highly doubt it will get passed.....
