Good morning all. It is another cold Tennessee morning. Bunny must still be sleepy. She does not want to get out of her habitat. Little does she know this this her best time to get some exercize until we get home this evening. I don't feel bad for her though since she has a huge habitat. She is just a but too mischievious to leave out in her room all day at least until we do some more training. I dread another Monday at work but it was a good weekend. Have a good week everyone.

Short for 'perples' ... I don't spell so good

So, here it is, 3 in the morning. I live in the country on a state hwy. I hear a pickup idling to a stop just outside the house and the engine shuts off. I grab the .45 and look out the front glass, the same time some dude walks by the front porch and the motion lights come on. He immediately backs up into the shadows (mistake)..... I open the door and peek around the side of the house and there he is trying to hide in the shadows.

Understand, I have a loaded pistol aimed in the direction I'm looking, so safety comes off and I yell at him to get on the ground... no response (mistake). I tell him where he is and that I have a weapon aimed at his head and to GET ON THE GROUND! Down he goes.

He starts telling me who he is and he thought he was at his girlfriends house. Turns out he had a loaded pistol as well. I get his gun and I.D. he says he lives just outside of Ft. Sill, then tells me he lives on my highway 1/2 mile away. Story is full of holes. He's reeking of alcohol. I unloaded his pistol and let him talk, tells me he's Aaron Johnson and new to the area, but he got lost. I know he's full of shit but since I have his name and vehicle info I send him on his way.

Probably should have kept his pistol and let him come back for it tomorrow, just to see him in the day light. Still smells fishy. He don't realize how close he came to getting in a real live shootout at OK Corral

He's lucky his relatives aren't going to a funeral. You done good Mr. Twisty. Hopefully, he'll tell all his "friends" not to mess with your place.

Congrats on getting your bunny Ruby. I'm looking for a different kind!

Anyone know where LBM and HRS have gotten off to? Haven't seen a post from either of them in a bit.

Early last week, I received the hand-drawn portait of Sally that I won in last November's Hurricane Sandy Relief Art Auction. Despite diligent care in packaging, the frame was damaged in shipping; there were a couple mircoscopic nicks in the drawing from the broken glass, but nothing that a trip to Michael's (omg another one ) Craft Store can't fix (thank goodness for those coupons ). I should have the portrait back in the next 10 days or so and Ill post pics.
