XBox in a vegetative state

I pushed the button on the console. The green light in the middle turned on, but the outside lights did nothing. My plugged in controller was lit all the way around the circle. The screen was totally blank. What's wrong with it?

Is this a newer or older Xbox? Have you ensured that the Xbox is connected to the TV correctly?

Usually when I have encountered a non-responsive Xbox it means that the RROD is imminent. :(

do you have a memory card plugged in(take it out before start-up)

The plugs are all good. They worked yesterday morning. It was used it for Hulu.

The XBox is a newer unit.
