Slap me in the face

I just got back from my wonderful 3 weeks vacation abroad. Today on my way to work I was clocked by CHP for running 80 on 65 mph on 99 South. It was my third speeding ticket for this year my first and second ticket was last February and March of last year but driving a different car with out of state registration license plate(Indiana), I strongly believed I'm being bullied by CHP for having a out of state car registration license plate and I am not even close for speeding. But today I admit that I was going 80 mph, Geez How could I even enjoy this awesome car if cruising around 80 mph will cost me trouble. Just saying..Radar doesn't even help me with the god damn laser.

At this point it's got to be self restraint. Try setting the speed warning in the DIC. Then heed it's prompting--or pay the piper!

After getting 2 speeding tixs with my car from Indy I traded it to a Camaro here in CA. I also have illegal tint and no front license with my Camaro but always ending up getting a speeding ticket. My goals right now is to slow down and to learn my Grandpas driving style.

...that's a bummer, need a better radar detector, lighter foot...or some divine intervention..... ,, maybe an instate plate will make you less attractable to the gendarme's ??? FYI, out of state reg's are more likely to get pulled over....just sayin.

Thats a good point!I need to pray over her to get rid of all the bad vibes and bad spirits.LOL..I have a instate license since I bought this car 6 months ago. I think no radar can escape from a laser gun thing. I am just so sad its all happening to me.

It's you bro. I've had my Camaro since 2009 never got a speeding ticket. I don't have a radar detector and I've made a few trips through several states (not CA). I have been pulled over a few times going in excess and have been let go each time. Attitude plays a big part in it.

Send a message via AIM to WheelmanSS
We need a "complain about your speeding tickets" thread to consolidate all these.

I dont argue with the officer bro, I am the most polite and obeying citizen as far as I know.LOL I was pulled over twice in Indiana but got away. So attitude is not an issue with me.

For me, V6 ticket = 1, SS ticket = 1.

Hmmn interesting story when i had my camaro's i never got a speeding ticket and im not gonna say i drove like a grandma either its all called restraint 15 over most cops are gonna bust ya and give you a ticket limit it to 5 to 10 over and prolly wont even get bothered and as someone has said before attitude and prior driving record will determine if a cop gives you a ticket as well.

I would agree that it can seem painful to force yourself to drive slower. But if you develop this habit and get used to it, you will be glad later on.

It is not uncommon for many highways to come to a complete halt due to wrecks or anything else. If you are driving slower, you likely will have more time to stop when you do see the gigantic parking lot of cars that are not moving on the interstate.
