Houston n00b

And I see Texas is well represented in this forum. Any way, I'm fresh out of my beloved off road/ rock crawling hobby that had me stuck driving trucks because of hauling all my junk around the country. I finalized my divorce last year and had to sell all my toys in the process but not being married to the ex or tow rigs anymore I was able to pick up a '12 rag top 2SS New Years Eve. I have full intentions of leaving this thing bone stock but I know me so I figured I'd sign up and educate myself a bit before the inevitable.

Thanks to all that deserve, this seems like a great forum with tons of great info.

Welcome and congrats on the SS! I hate to be "that guy" but a catch can should be the first thing you do, even if you plan on keeping it stock. Feel free to call PM or email me with any questions. Best of luck with your new Camaro!

Best regards,

Tyler

I feel your pain Boombuilt, I traded in my 11 Jeep Wrangler for the Camaro. It was a bitter sweat departure but also enjoying the SS on a whole different level. The Jeep was lots of fun going slow now the Camaro is the opposite, fun going fast. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the ride.

On a side note, JDP I need to get with you about ordering an Anvil spoiler.

boombuilt, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

P.S. seeing as you are in Houston, check us out, the H-Town Camaro Club!! come on out and join in on the local fun, there are quite a few things going on this weekend.

That too!

IMO every modern car should come with a catch can from the factory!

I don't want to clutter his thread, but you can find more info HERE
