For under $60k, the Americans are eating into some pretty pricey turf. Can't wait to see what the C7 does next year.

considering the top speeds attained, the 1LE is a very fast track car. Heck, its a fast track car no matter what.

I find it mind boggling that a 1LE beats the M3 at the track.

I am extremely impressed, and proud of the Camaro.

It's mindboggling that people still think that BMW/Merc/Audi make better cars than North America.

Mmmmmmm, not sure I agree. There might be a few exceptions like the camaro and corvette ( performance wise) but I don't think ford or Chevy make better cars.

Absolutely. Just look at the peak speed of the GT500 versus the 1LE.

You're wrong. American cars are more reliable, and equivalent cost cars (like Cadillac) are superior to the German equivalent. Ergo, North American cars are superior.

Performance cars are where a manufacturer can really show their engineering ability and no European car comes close to a North American performance car for around the same price. Ergo, North American cars are superior.

Maybe the Europeans might win in an interior contest. Hooray. Even then, the North American interiors are getting better and in some cases have already beaten European equivalents.

In at least one of the sections, the 1LE had the quickest time of all the cars, including the Ferrari.

That is impressive.
